With homes situated in Chard and Axminster, you will be working predominantly in Chard with adults with Autism and learning difficulties. Within our Adult provision, you will be supporting 3 young adults with minimal challenging behaviour, Autism, Epilepsy and Communication difficulties.
Full time floating RCW to provide cover for an average of 9 shifts a month (147.5 hours a month including 8 sleep-ins) plus an on-call weekend every three weeks. The monthly rota is set in advance but not a set pattern. Overtime is applicable if called in when you are on call.
Salary ranges from £20,775 to £22,479, dependant on age and experience
We are looking for a caring and supportive person to join our friendly experienced team working with 3 young adults with autism who have been with us since they were children. They are funny and endearing characters, who respond well to consistency and boundaries to enable them to feel safe.
All the housemates require support within all aspects of their lives due to their disability, however they present low level challenging behaviour with a minimal amount of personal care necessary.
Average 10 x 14.5hr shifts per month and one on-call weekend every three weeks. The successful candidate will have one weekend off in three on a fixed rolling rota pattern.
Salary ranges between £15,199.20 to £16,713 pro rata depending on age and experience
Ashcroft is rated OUTSTANDING home under the CQC inspection framework and is a warm and comfortable environment for all. The manager has many years experience working with autism and is also one of the company’s trainers, so provides great support for her staff.
3 Dimensions support vulnerable and complex young people who have challenging behaviour, social, emotional and learning difficulties. With homes situated in Chard or Axminster, you may be working in either of these.
Full-time RCW’s (working shifts consisting of 9 x 24.5-hour shifts, which include sleep-ins, plus 1 x 15.5-hour shift). The rota is a set repeating 3-week pattern, Mon, Weds, Sat, Tues, Fri, Sun, Thurs.
Full time floating RCW’s to provide cover at both homes and work the same 10 shifts per month in terms of hours. The rota is set in advance but not a set pattern.
Under 25’s the salary range is £20,900 to £21,333 depending on experience.
Over 25 years the salary range is £22,176 to £23,004 depending on experience.
It is a legal requirement that carers must be 4 years older than the children in their care. All applicants must be over 21 years old.

Hourly rate £7.92 - £8.65 depending on experience.
