3 Dimensions have an Independent SEN School, two Residential Children's Homes and one Young Adult Facility which are situated between Chard, Somerset and Axminster, Devon. We look to recruit both care and education staff.

Enthusiasm to learn is essential. You will be paid to attend our induction training and ongoing development training.

 

Full driving licence is required.

 

Applicants need to be physically fit and willing to undertake various activities.

On completion of successful 6-month probation, the company will fund the training and completion of a Health and Social Care Diploma Level 3 if not already achieved for care workers.

Residential Care Workers - including new permanent relief contract

We are looking for experienced and non-experienced people to join our team, ready for new young people arriving.

 

It is a challenging but rewarding job, that requires enthusiasm, commitment and understanding, of the difficulties and trauma the young people have encountered, to give them the opportunity to make a better life.

 

Job Description: 3 Dimensions supports vulnerable and complex young people who have challenging behaviour, social, emotional and learning difficulties.

 

With homes situated in Chard or Axminster, you may be working in both of these. You must have a full driving licence and be able and willing to drive yourself from your home to TA20 or EX13. Full driving licence is also required for driving company cars, when at work.

 

Applicants also need to be physically fit and willing to undertake various activities. Including bike riding, swimming, walking etc. Enthusiasm to learn is essential and you will be paid to attend our comprehensive induction and ongoing development training programme.

 

We are Recruiting:

  • Full time RCW’s to work 10 shifts per month including 9 sleep-ins (£21,633.60 - £23,650.40) p.a.

  • Residential care worker to work 10 x 15 or 15.5 hour shifts a month (£14,832 - £16,363.50) p.a.

  • Flexible relief worker (£9.50 p.h) (sleep-ins £70)

 

Permanent position for relief worker can be provided for 30 hours or 38 hour a week contract. Due to nature of long shifts this weekly hours would be averaged out over the month. You will be required to work across site or teams, providing cover for staff holidays or shortages. Rotas are written for a month at a time in which there will be guaranteed one in three weekends (Saturday and Sunday) off. Sleep-ins will be required as and where needed paid as at overtime rate of £70 each.

It is a legal requirement that carers must be 4 years older than the children in their care. All applicants must be over 21 years old and hold a current, full driving licence.

Full Time Teaching Assistant, term time only (SEN) 

Unexpected vacancy for a SEN Teaching Assistant, to start ASAP. If you think you have the drive and passion and think you can make a positive change through education, then we would like to hear from you as soon as possible.

 

3 Dimensions is an approved independent special school providing education for 7-25-year-old pupils (at present cohort is 7-16yrs old). It is accredited by the National Autistic Society for the quality of its provision and has an Ofsted rating of Good with some Outstanding areas. Ofsted described us as a HAPPY School.

 

We aim to provide a personalised curriculum and a quality education designed to meet each individual young person’s needs in an environment that is warm, secure and nurturing.

 

We require a Teaching Assistant who can work with children and young adults with social/emotional difficulties and very challenging behaviours.

 

This is a full-time position, term time only. Experience is not essential but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are.

 

Full driving licence required.

 

Salary: From £14,600 to 16,323 p/a depending on age and experience.
