3 Dimensions have an Independent SEN School, two Residential Children's Homes and one young Adult facility which are situated between Chard, Somerset and Axminster, Devon. We look to recruit both care staff and staff for our school. Current vacancies are posted below.

Full time residential care worker: Adult services

 

We are looking for a caring and supportive person to join our friendly experienced team working with 3 young adults with autism who have been with us since they were children. They are funny and endearing characters, who respond well to consistency and boundaries to enable them to feel safe.

All the housemates require support within all aspects of their lives due to their disability, however they present low level challenging behaviour with a minimal amount of personal care necessary.

Job Description

Full time Residential Care Worker Required for Ashcroft our Adult provision situated in Chard, within easy walking distance of shops, supporting young adults with Learning disabilities, Autism and Communication difficulties.

Average 10 x 14.5hr Shifts per month and one on-call weekend every three weeks. The successful candidate will have one weekend off in three on a fixed rolling rota pattern.

Salary: pro rata, £15199.20 to £16713 depending on age and experience

Ashcroft is rated OUTSTANDING home under the CQC inspection framework and is a warm and comfortable environment for all. The manager has many years’ experience working with autism and is also is one of the company’s trainers, so provides great support for her staff.

Full time Residential Care Workers:

It’s a New Year! Are you looking for a new career? Or a change from your current care role. Either way training will be provided. We are looking for experienced and non-experienced people to join our team, ready for new young people arriving.

It is a challenging but rewarding job, that requires enthusiasm, commitment and understanding, of the difficulties and trauma the young people have encountered, to give them the opportunity to make a better life.

Job Description: 3 Dimensions supports vulnerable and complex young people who have challenging behaviour, social, emotional and learning difficulties. With homes situated in Chard or Axminster, you may be working in either of these.

Full driving licence required for driving company cars. Applicants also need to be physically fit and willing to undertake various activities. Including bike riding, swimming, walking etc. Enthusiasm to learn is essential and you will be paid to attend our comprehensive induction and ongoing development training programme which includes Positive Behaviour Management and De-escalation and Physical Intervention training.

We are Recruiting:

Full time RCW’s (working shifts consisting of 9 x 24.5-hour shifts, which include sleep in's, plus 1 x 15.5-hour shift). The rota is a set repeating 3-week pattern, Mon, Weds, Sat, Tues, Fri, Sun, Thurs.

•Two full time floating RCW’s to provide cover at both homes and work the same 10 shifts per month in terms of hours and the rota is set in advance but not a set pattern.

Salary ranges depend on experience and age:

For under 25’s the salary range is £20,900 to £21,333 depending on experience.

Over 25 years the salary range is £22,176 to £23,004 depending on experience.

It is a legal requirement that carers must be 4 years older than the children in their care. All applicants must be over 21 years old and hold a current, full driving licence.

Teaching Assistant (SEN) - To start ASAP.

We are looking for a new Teaching Assistant. If you think you have the drive and passion, and think you can make a positive change through education, then we would like to hear from you as soon as possible.

3 Dimensions is an approved independent special school providing education for 7-25-year-old pupils (at present cohort is 7-16yrs old). It is accredited by the National Autistic Society for the quality of its provision and has an Ofsted rating of Good with some Outstanding areas. Ofsted described us as a HAPPY School.

We aim to provide a personalised curriculum and a quality education designed to meet each individual young person’s needs in an environment that is warm, secure and nurturing.

We require a Teaching Assistant who can work with children and young adults with social/emotional difficulties and very challenging behaviours.

This is a full-time position, term time only. Experience is not essential but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are.

Full driving licence required.

Salary £7.92 - £8.65 per hour depending on experience.

Purpose of the Role:

To support planning and teaching of individualised curriculum set by teachers. This includes supporting small teaching activities but to also lead 1:1 Learning tasks and running activities and life skills within the community.

 

TA’s will receive training in Positive Behaviour Management. They must follow Positive Behaviour Strategies and must respect client and family confidentiality at all times.

 

This job description will be referred to where necessary during the appraisal process and during any reviews of performance.
