3 Dimensions have an Independent SEN School, two Residential Children's Homes and one Young Adult Facility which are situated between Chard, Somerset and Axminster, Devon. We look to recruit both care and education staff.

It is a challenging but rewarding job that requires enthusiasm, commitment and understanding of the difficulties and trauma the young people have encountered, to give them the opportunity to make a better life. Client and family confidentiality is paramount.

 

Enthusiasm to learn is essential. You will be paid to attend our induction training and ongoing development training.

 

Full driving licence is required.

 

Applicants need to be physically fit and willing to undertake various activities.

 

3 Dimensions are committed to safeguarding all adults and young people placed with us and therefore all applicants will be required to have a fully enhanced DBS check and several references will be sought.

 

On completion of successful 6-month probation, the company will fund the training and completion of a Health and Social Care Diploma Level 3 if not already achieved for care workers.

Deputy Manager for Children and Young People's  Home

Applicants must have:

 

  • NVQ LEVEL 3 or 4 IN HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE FOR CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE
  • AT LEAST 1 YRS’ EXPERIENCE AS DEPUTY MANAGER/TEAM LEADER/SENIOR IN CHILDCARE

You will have knowledge of legislation, regulations and inspection relating to young people in Care.

 

Hours: 175 per month

Registered Manager for Children’s Home

3 Dimensions are looking for a dynamic person to become the Manager of one of our Children’s Homes registered for 5 young people. The Children we look after are complex, have attachment issues, suffered trauma and rejection throughout their lives. We therefore have long term placements to allow for time to support them to address their difficulties and the opportunities for change.

 

We require an experienced Childrens Home Registered Manager or possibly Deputy Manager ready for promotion. You must be well organised, a strong leader who is forwards thinking, self-reflective and always researching ways to provide the best outcomes for Children and the drive to improve your knowledge and understanding through research and training.

 

A sound knowledge of Children’s Homes regulations and Quality Standards is a must, with an in-depth understanding of Safeguarding Children and Multi agency working.

 

A knowledge of PACE behaviour model will enable you to follow our Ethos, to provide positive behaviour management using a Conscious Parenting/PACE approach to enable Children make sense of their lives and thrive.

 

We run a high-quality home with a high staff ratio team of 13 staff for whom you will be responsible to lead and supervise with the support of a house supervisor. Managing the day to day running of the home to ensure the continuity of staff and their performance, using SMART targets. Ensuring that a nurturing and caring environment is provided for the children, by a well led and trained staff team who are encouraged to further their knowledge to meet the standards.

 

Prior knowledge and experience of writing Placement Plans, Risk Assessments and Behaviour plans to reflect Local Authority Plans and required Outcomes in a clear concise, informative  and timely manner with updates as necessary.

General Maintenance/Handy Person-Part Time

3 Dimensions is a small company with 2 small Residential Childrens Homes, a small Adult home and a SEN School for 16 pupils.

 

Job Description:

 

General maintenance of homes, grounds, and school, working to all H&S requirements -to include but not limited by the following-

Making sure all buildings are kept in good decorative order, Painting/Decorating, investigating faults, sourcing materials, undertaking repairs, making safe any breakages such as windows to board up.  Checking lighting changing bulbs, small plumbing issues e.g. Leaky tap/sink waste/blocked drains. Gutter cleaning- so you will need to be able to get on a ladder, pressure washing conservatories, patios and paving. Keeping the site free from rubbish, etc.

 

Car checks- all safety aspects- check Service’s are up to date, oil, water, tyre pressures and conditions, windscreen wash and condition, check all lights, indicators change any bulbs, brakes and handbrake are all working safely repot any faults and arrange repair with garage. Also check car records and staff reports.

 

Hours 16 -20 hours per week

Wages £8.75 per hour

Full time Residential Care Workers:

We are looking for experienced and non-experienced people to join our team, ready for new young people arriving.

 

It is a challenging but rewarding job, that requires enthusiasm, commitment and understanding, of the difficulties and trauma the young people have encountered, to give them the opportunity to make a better life.

 

Job Description: 3 Dimensions supports vulnerable and complex young people who have challenging behaviour, social, emotional and learning difficulties.

 

With homes situated in Chard or Axminster, you may be working in either of these. You must have a full driving licence and be able and willing to drive yourself from your home to TA20 or EX13. Full driving licence is also required for driving company cars, when at work.

 

Applicants also need to be physically fit and willing to undertake various activities. Including bike riding, swimming, walking etc. Enthusiasm to learn is essential and you will be paid to attend our comprehensive induction and ongoing development training programme which includes Positive Behaviour Management and De-escalation and Physical Intervention training.

 

We are Recruiting:

 

  • Full time RCW’s to work 10 shifts per month including 9 sleep-ins
  • Residential care worker to work 10 x 15 or 15.5 hour shifts a month

Salary ranges depend on experience and age:

 

  • £21,633.60 - £23,650.40 per annum for sleep-in role
  • £14,832 - £16,363.50 per annum for non, sleep-in role. (occasional Sleep-ins may be available as overtime)

Full Time Teaching Assistant, term time only (SEN) 

3 Dimensions School is looking for a new Teaching Assistant. If you think you have the drive and passion and think you can make a positive change through education, then we would like to hear from you as soon as possible.

 

3 Dimensions is an approved independent special school providing education for 7-25-year-old pupils (at present cohort is 7-16yrs old). It is accredited by the National Autistic Society for the quality of its provision and has an Ofsted rating of Good with some Outstanding areas. Ofsted described us as a HAPPY School.

 

We aim to provide a personalised curriculum and a quality education designed to meet each individual young person’s needs in an environment that is warm, secure and nurturing.

 

We require a Teaching Assistant who can work with children and young adults with social/emotional difficulties and very challenging behaviours.

 

This is a full-time position, term time only. Experience is not essential but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are.

 

Full driving licence required.

 

Salary £8.00 - £8.90 per hour depending on experience.
